The KDOTE mascots are assuming their role as greeters for everyone as usual. It is a beautiful morning. The third stocking went well yesterday, and fish are jumping all over the lake. Trout and crappie are biting on jigs. Sometimes the crappie are very small like this one. Power bait and minnows and worms seem to be slow still. Try dry flies. They are jumping. I saw one today that leaped 24 inches into the air.
