I was wrong about my criticism of the work at Gypsum Creek in Wichita. The fishing is just great since they removed the vegetation that provided shade and replaced it with stones that protect the bank. There are still plenty of trees left on the South side to capture all my line when I overcast.
This is a very small fishable area in a long creek. The bass and catfish will not renew their populations very quickly. Please practice catch and release most of the time.
